שפכי כמים ליבך

I am me. I have flaws. I own up to my mistakes. I know exactly what I like and want. Most of the time. When I don't, it's because I haven't taken the time to word it in my head.

Hospital News, Orthopedics2

There's this Romanian guy who's in the hospital because some gas balloons exploded on him and he got seriously burned. He's an illegal immigrant. We don't know how long he's been illegal for but we know he's been in Israel 3 years so far. In the beginning he was really rude and obnoxious, but after about two weeks he got very nice and even a bit polite. He had a skin graft operation last week (for those of you who don't understand what that is, it means taking skin from another part of the body, usually the thighs, and transplanting it to where new skin is needed) on both his arms so he couldn't move them at all for 4 days so he had to be fed, given high protein shakes, stuff like that. It makes for unusually busy evening shifts.
There's another patient, very sweet, speaks too many languages, who fainted and fell on a radiator, the kind they have here, with the fires going. They can't operate on her because her heart isn't strong enough. But she's very sweet.
Besides that, for the past two weeks we've been filling up with Orthopedic patients because there's no room for them in their ward. It's gone from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 6 orthopedic patients. This usually happens that patients come to us when there isn't room where they ought to be but not in these numbers and from one ward.
Getting excited to see everybody, can't wait you guys! We have to stay up late Thursday night, Tsiona and I have funny stories to tell from here. And the Liege probably does too, heck, everyone probably has something funny to tell. CAN'T WAIT!!!
